Comic Con!

My Friends and I wearing matching skirts that we made
This past weekend was one of the best experiences of my life, although I am still exhausted from it. I went to Comic Con on Sunday! It was my first Comic Con and it will definitely not be my last. I saw a whole another side of life and I am very glad that I did. I felt right at home and I felt as if I finally found a place where I fit in. As I like to tell my friends, “I was with my people.” The people that I met at comic con were a few of the most amazing people I have ever met. You were not judged there, because most likely, everyone was just as weird as you. While I was there, I had a chance to buy many Iron Man Posters (soon you will realize that I am quite obsessed with Iron Man) and take pictures with many characters (Iron Man Included!)

Meeting Evan Peters
Although Comic Con itself was an adventure, I think the most exciting part of it was meeting the one and only Evan Peters! For those who don’t know who he is, Evan Peters is an actor on the show American Horror Story. He was the first celebrity that I’ve met and I am very ecstatic that I did. He was the most marvelous and down to earth guy. He didn’t act as I had expected him to. He was really easy to talk to and have a laugh with. Coming from an Indian family, I have a very difficult- to- say name. Everyone that I know has said it wrong the first time they tried to read it, but Evan Peters said my name CORRECTLY and without any hesitation. I could probably listen to him say it all day.

While taking a picture with him, my friend and I did the “crab face” which was made famous by Ricky and Kian on YouTube. Whenever we see a cute guy, we turn to each other, do the crab face and hands, and say “I want dis one.” We thought it was appropriate to do it in the picture (added below). He was very confused at first, but accepted it.

Overall my experience at Comic Con was MARVELOUS. I would recommend everyone to go at least once in their life. Comic Con was just another new experience to add to my list.
